About this site
LeopardTanks.com is an independent, plain-English guide to Germany's Leopard tanks: their history, specifications, versions, operators and use in combat. We explain what the numbers mean and link to the public sources we rely on.
Independence
We are not affiliated with KNDS, Rheinmetall, the Bundeswehr, any armed forces or any government. Nothing on this site is official information.
Accuracy
Specifications for military vehicles vary by version and country, and many figures are approximate or classified. Order quantities and delivery figures change frequently; each page shows when it was last updated and lists its sources. If you spot an error, the fastest fix is to point us to a public source.
